Last Friday, the media was invited to the official launching of the Meat Free Mondays campaign. This event took place at the health and green living exhibit that was held in Montreal from March 19 to 21. Many celebrities and organizations were there to support the cause including Anne-Marie Roy (exhibit spokeswoman), Georges Laraque, Joël Legendre (exhibit spokesman), Jacques Languirand, Jacques Godin, Frédéric Back, Patricia Tulasne, Équiterre, Greenpeace, Friends on the Earth, The David Suzuki foundation and of course the Montreal Vegetarian Association.
